In the Thick of It

I got very close to letting a Sunday go by without a blog post, but that felt wrong so I'm back for another short update. I've been a little overwhelmed studying for the never-ending wave of midterms, and my head's a little tired from trying to stay afloat. Sometimes it's hard to find the motivation to do work, but, in the end, my need to do well in school is stronger than my lack of motivation, and I end up getting it done. I'm not sure this is totally healthy, but my last midterm is on Tuesday, and hopefully after that I can take a little more of a breath. Between all the stress I still try to find time to get out, whether it's to row or just to explore the woods on campus. We've been having great weather here lately, although it is beginning to get cold, so I've been trying to take advantage of it before the rain returns. Some stomach issues, similar to those I dealt with in Norway, have crept their way back into my system, so I'm dealing with those to the best of my ability while avoiding missing class as much as I can. It's been a bit stressful, but I'm hoping I'll be on the other side of it soon. Sorry for the late post, hopefully this won't be a regular occurrence!

Yesterday I had yet another beautiful morning on False Creek. I'm so lucky to get to row here!

Sunrise from my room

Found a little forest hallway while exploring today

This little chair, too!
