It seems as though every time I decide to spend an extended period of time somewhere far away from home, the universe decides I need to be humbled with a little test of my independence. In Norway, it was the kickoff of round one million of my stomach issues, and here, it was a beautiful series of unfortunate events involving a mystery allergic reaction and strep throat. I'm writing this now to be able to get something out for this week, but I don't have much excess energy at the moment to put into a lengthy blog post. It's been a long weekend of ER/urgent care visits and sleeping more than I have in a long time, but now I have to be back on my game for the last two weeks before break. I definitely don't feel my best, but all the medication I'm taking (it's quite the arsenal) is helping and hopefully I'll be back to normal in a few days. For now, enjoy this sunset photo from Wednesday and have a great week:)
